& B founding partner Mike O'Connor, C.E.T., was recognized by ASET (The
Association of Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta) as the 2005
ASET Technologist of the year. ASET recognized Mike as a leading expert in the
field of Materials Testing, and Geotechnical Engineering. ASET's president
Scott Turner, R.E.T., CCEP, had the following to say about Mike's contribution
to the field:
"Mike is an excellent example of the tremendous skill and productivity
that
certified technology professionals bring to Alberta's economy. They search for
solutions that are not just theoretically possible, but are also practical and
reasonable given the circumstances at hand. We all know there is a big
difference, particularly when it comes to getting the job done on time and on
